Questions
Before you call.
Answers to the questions people usually need before applying or making a referral.
Is The Healing River House MAT-friendly?
Yes. The home is MAT-friendly with respect, privacy, and zero stigma. Medication details should be discussed privately during admissions.
How do I ask about current availability?
Availability changes over time. Please contact Healing River House or submit an application to discuss current openings and next steps.
What are the program fees?
Program fees and payment expectations are discussed during the application and admissions process. Because arrangements may change over time, we do not publish fixed pricing in the FAQ.
How are rooms assigned?
Room assignments are discussed during intake and move-in planning. Assignments may depend on availability, house needs, and client fit.
What is included in the program fees?
Program fees include utilities, Wi-Fi, shared living spaces, full kitchen amenities, laundry access, and the daily structure that supports recovery living.
Is this a clinical treatment program?
No. This is a structured recovery residence with peer-led support, house expectations, and non-clinical recovery advising.
Can I work, attend outpatient, or keep appointments while living here?
Yes. The goal is to support a steady recovery rhythm while clients balance meetings, work, outpatient care, appointments, and daily responsibilities.
Can families or treatment providers Refer a Client?
Yes. Referrals can come from families, treatment centers, clinicians, justice partners, hospitals, or the person seeking recovery housing.
What should I bring if I am approved?
Bring clothing, hygiene items, recovery materials, important documents, and approved medications. Move-in details are reviewed during the readiness conversation.
What happens after I apply?
Someone will follow up for a readiness conversation, review expectations, answer questions, and discuss move-in timing if the fit is right.
How do I know if Healing River House is the right fit?
The admissions conversation is designed to help both sides assess fit. We look at readiness for structure, respect for house expectations, recovery support needs, and whether the home environment matches the next step being sought.
